Creating more Good Days

A balanced life has its up and down days. The goal of good living is to experience more up days and less down days. It helps to have a good mental attitude as even the bad days aren't so bad and the good days are even better. Besides maintaining a sense of optimism and a sweet disposition, there are some 'best practices' you can follow to increase the chances that fewer bad things and more good things happen to you.

The most important of these good practices is to START EARLY everything that needs to be done for a successful day. Sometimes, starting early means spending some time the night before in getting ready for the next day. When you wake up in the morning having a game plan and ready to execute it, the day goes smoother. First, you need to get ahead of the wave. Instead of spending the night before trying to complete the tasks of that day, get ahead of the curve. The night before is much better spend getting ahead start on the next day. Second, create your game plan, prepare your tools and materials, adjust your mental attitude the night before. Have a mental picture of your day before you begin it. Third, there is nothing wrong with going to bed early so you can get an EARLY START in the morning.

When you position your life so that you can get an early start on everything you want to accomplish and are ahead of schedule, you are better able to control the situation and head of problems before they have a chance to happen. The old saying, 'It is the early bird who gets the worm', is worth remembering. If you want to create more good days, START EARLY.
